Scheduling & planner

Job scheduling that puts the right crew on the right job

Book jobs on a day, week or month planner, choose who is going, and give each booking a task. When the booking starts, the job moves to that status on the job board.

The problem

Schedules that live in someone's head

When the schedule is a whiteboard or a group text, crews show up at the wrong place, jobs overlap, and the office can't see what's coming.

Double-booked crews

Two jobs, one crew, and nobody noticed until the morning.

Status lags behind

The job started yesterday but the board still says Scheduled.

No view of the week

Nobody can see the whole week's work in one place.

How it works

A planner connected to every job

Day, week and month views

See the week at a glance with each booking showing the job, its task, the time and who's on it. Switch to day view for detail or month view to plan ahead. Each job keeps its own colour, so a long job is easy to follow across the week.

  • Book a job more than once: one job, many days
  • Move bookings by dragging them on a computer
  • Business hours set the planner's day

Bookings that move the job forward

Each booking has a date, a start time, a length, the crew and a note. Give it a task, such as In Progress or Inspection, and when the booking starts, the job moves to that status on the board. If the job is already there, nothing changes.

  • Pick the crew from your team
  • A note for each booking
  • Book again, or mark the job done, from the booking

What changes

Fewer surprises on the schedule

The whole week, one view

Every crew and every job across the week on one screen.

Status keeps up

Bookings move the job's status at their start time, so the board stays current.

Clear for the crew

Each booking says what the crew will be doing, when and with whom.

Long jobs made simple

Book the same job across several days and see each day's work.

Control who edits

A permission decides who can change the planner.

Hours line up

Crews log their hours by job in timesheets, so the schedule and the hours match.

Example

Scheduling a three-day bathroom remodel

A renovation crew has a bathroom remodel and a drywall job in the same week.

  1. Book day one. Tuesday 8 AM, 4 hours, Jordan, task In Progress.
  2. Book the follow-up. Thursday 1 PM, 3 hours, same job, using Book again.
  3. Fit the small job in. Wednesday morning for the drywall and paint job, so the crew isn't idle.
  4. Let the board update. At 8 AM Tuesday the remodel moves from Scheduled to In Progress by itself.
