Job board with counts per status and a table of ten jobs with statuses, assignees and dates

The problem

You can't manage what you can't see

Whiteboards don't travel, spreadsheets go stale, and the status of a job depends on who you ask.

Status by phone call

Finding out where a job stands means asking someone who might not know.

Missed dates

Due dates sit in a calendar nobody checks until it's too late.

One size fits nobody

Generic tools force your stages into someone else's process.

How it works

Built around how your jobs actually move

Your statuses, your colours

Name the stages your jobs go through, such as Quoted, Approved, Scheduled, In Progress, Inspection and Invoicing, and pick a colour for each. The count for each status sits at the top of the board; click one to see only those jobs.

  • Status counts that double as filters
  • Change a job's status right from its row
  • Completed jobs move to their own page

Owners and dates on every row

Assign each job to a person and set its due, approval and install dates directly on the board. Due dates that are close or past are highlighted, and jobs with planner bookings show their next booking under the status.

  • Sort by date, work order, status or assignee
  • Search by customer, company, description or note
  • Add your own columns with Add Column

What changes

A board your whole team can read

Status at a glance

No more calling around: the board shows where every job is.

Nothing slips

Due dates are visible on every row, and late ones stand out.

Fits your process

Your statuses, your colours and your own columns.

Clear ownership

Every job has a name next to it.

Connected to the planner

Bookings appear on the board and can move a job's status when the work starts.

Works on any screen

The board is usable on a laptop in the office or a phone on site.

Example

A Monday morning with the job board

An operations manager starts the week with ten open jobs.

  1. Scan the counts. Two quoted, one approved, two scheduled, two in progress, one at inspection, one invoicing, one on hold.
  2. Check what's due. One job's due date is highlighted; it's reassigned and the date is updated on the row.
  3. Follow up on quotes. Click Quoted to see only the two open quotes and call those customers.
  4. Look ahead. Each scheduled job shows its next booking, so the week's work is clear before the crews leave.
